Taste and See

“Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.” Psalm 34:8

Taste and see is an invitation to…Try this because you will like it. When we taste and see all that God has for us we will find that He is good. We will discover that…

💜God is kind, He is good to all and has compassion for all (Ps 145:9)

💚He can deliver us from our fears (Ps 34:4)

💙He can supply our needs (Ps 34:9)

💛He is our rock, our fortress and our deliverer (Ps 18:1)

🧡He is close to the broken-hearted (Ps 34:28)

💜He gives wisdom (Prov 2:6)

💚His forgiveness is given for all (Jn 3:16,17)

💙and His forgiveness is…”as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.”(Ps 103:12).

When we dig into the word of God we will be able to “taste and see” all that God has for us.  Grab your bible and read Psalms 34 and share with me in the comments what awesome things you found because you choose to “Taste & See”.

Have a Simply Blessed day.

Learning Never Ends

We teach our children and they also go to school to learn.  The learning or the instruction should not stop at the school or within our homes.

Learning does not end when we become adults. Daily we should be seeking the wisdom and instruction of God. He is the greatest teacher. Jesus was also called Rabbi or teacher. The lessons God has for us never end. We have to be willing to learn and grow or we will miss what he is teaching us. No matter how old we are we all need a teacher, a Rabbi, God…and we should never stop listening to His instructions for our life. We should be digging into our text book…the Bible. And we need to do so on a regular basis.

I love psalm 119:33,34 in the Message transition:

God, teach me lessons for so I can stay the course. Give me insight so I can do what you tell me—my whole life one long, obedient response.

Lord, today I pray that whoever reads this will seek to learn from you. That they will open their bible and dig in. I pray that daily they will learn from you and find lessons from you in the most unexpected things. Thank you for being our teacher and for always wanting to help us grow in wisdom. Amen

Remember that learning does not end just because you are an adult.

Have a Simply Blessed day:)
